Your story begins

Congratulations!

Your wedding day is one you'll remember forever, and music plays a big part in creating those special moments. Whether you'd like live piano and vocals during your ceremony, a nice vibe for your drinks reception, or both, I can help set the tone from the very start. From your aisle song to your guests enjoying a drink and a chat, live music adds a personal touch and helps make the day feel even more memorable.

Drinks Reception

Every drinks reception has its own feel. Some are relaxed and chilled, others a bit more lively and buzzing, and sometimes they’re a mix of both. Whether it’s a piano bar-style set that gets people singing along and lifts the energy, or more laid-back background vibes that let conversations flow, I’ll shape the music to suit the room. Live piano and vocals work beautifully in either setting, helping create the right atmosphere while your guests enjoy the moment.

Ceremony

Walking in to the song that means the most to you is a really special way to start the day and set the tone for everything that follows. I’m always happy to chat through your ideas and see if a piano and vocal version of your chosen song will work, or help you find something that fits just right if you’re not sure.

For the register signing, a couple of gentle, meaningful songs usually work beautifully in the background while everyone takes it all in. And then for the exit… that’s your moment to celebrate — whether that’s something joyful, upbeat, or a proper “roof off” finish to send everyone out smiling.

FAQs

Q. We really want to be outside if the weather suits. Can we do it? A. Absolutely yes! If we're in the UK, we generally have to make a call on the day. The best scenario is either blazing sunshine or rain. It's the 'not quite sure' days that are the tricky ones. If necessary, I can move part way through but it's not a 5 minute job (more like 15 mins) and is a little disruptive to your proceedings. Provided this is taken into account, I always try my best to make it happen if at all possible!

Q. Can we have a face to face chat with you about our ideas and the format of our day? A.If you are local to me, we can organise a meeting with pleasure. If not, I almost always have a video meeting or at the very least a phone call with every couple well ahead of the big day!

Q. The venue are asking for Public Liability and power requirements. How do we deal with this? A. I have Musicians Union Public Liability up to £10m and the certificate can be downloaded for your venue on the button below. I require just one mains power and carry an extension of this is not already sorted by the venue. I am always happy to liaise with wedding coordinators and venue staff. A. Absolutely yes!
