STAMP OUT SUICIDE

CHARITY GIG AT THE HALFWAY, KINETON

On the 13th December 2023, John Neild Jnr. and I organised a charity event at The Halfway at Kineton, to raise fund for an amazing small charity called Stamp Out Suicide. John and I took to the stage and immediately the crowd were in full swing singing along whilst enjoying some food and (quite a few) drinks! Amazing support for us and the venue.

We did our bit on the night by way of playing a couple of sets and running the auction etc. Mention must be made of the fact that it was incredible to work with such amiable and generous guys at The Halfway. They really went above and beyond with their willingness to help, from moving whatever furniture we needed for space to their publicity of the event and donations to the auction. The auction prize donations in general were also stunning and the crowd did not disappoint with their generosity with both the auction and donations in the bucket. What a great show from such a small and rural community.

As the night went on, the atmosphere at The Halfway was one of fun and laughter. It wasn’t just about raising money, it was alsom about standing in solidarity with those who have been affected by suicide and spreading a message of hope and healing. By the end of the evening, there was almost £3500 for Stamp Out Suicide. It’s incredible what can happen when people come together.

So here’s to The Halfway and everyone who played a part in making this night one to remember. Cheers to spreading the love, spreading awareness, and stamping out suicide for good.

John and I have now pencilled in two more events across the summer of 2024, again working wtih The Halfway At Kineton. Keep a lookout for more news on my socials!
