Norton Grounds – Wedding 8 July 2023

NORTON GROUNDS PROVIDES THE PERFECT VENUE

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of playing a piano vocal set at a wedding in the picturesque Cotswolds. Despite the gentle rain shower, the atmosphere was one of fun and smiles whilst the bride and groom chatted to their guests and spent time capturing memories with their photographer.

The wedding venue, Norton Grounds, nestled in the heart of the North Cotswolds created an intimate and inviting ambiance for the ceremony, which was great fun for me as I played the bride in to ‘Songbird’ by Fleetwood Mac, plus a couple of group songs that took the roof off, thanks to some great vocals from the wedding guests!

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests embraced the typical British rainy weather during the drinks reception. However, it certainly didn’t dampen spirits as we had the benefit of the ‘cow shed’, which is a stunning barn with the bar and waiting staff from The Watering Hole Event Bars taking care of everyone. Fortunately, the rain did not last too long and once I had finished my drinks reception set, the wedding party was off to the huge marquee in front of the main house for the rest of the day and evening.

Thanks to Tom and Juliet for having to play some live music on their wedding day in the Cotswolds. Huge thanks also to Anna at Golden Pineapple Hospitality for organising the whole day and making my job easy once again!
